If you were in New York City this week, anywhere near Pier 92 or Pier 94, then you must have seen a stylish commotion emerging from 12th Street. Ladies Outfitters had an exclusive pass to attend the festivities behind the ENK International Accessorie/Intermezzo Circuit, featuring such designers like BCBG Max Azria, Corey Lynn Calter, David Meister, & Alexis Bittar. We were able to scope out all the hottest trends in accessories, jewelry, & clothing about the hit stores this summer & fall. Luckily some of the brands, including many fabulous lesser known names, were excited to chat with us about their latest collections. Check out the images below to see all the glamorous style, including decadent diamonds, beaded evening bags, quirky graphic tees, elegant eveningwear & colorful scarves.
This is one of the many jaw-dropping displays by designer Moyna, featuring intricately beaded wallets, clutches, coin purses, & more. We love the mix of novelty designs, including animal prints, a skull & crossbones, peace signs, & the always adorable Hello Kitty.
In addition, Moyna was fully equipped to meet their customer’s formal event needs with beautiful pearl-strewn bags. The amount of detail on each bag was truly breath-taking, perfect for any cocktail party or evening dress. Pearls are so classic & timeless for any occasion & any age.
There was also plenty of international flair & this was evident in the colorful stand set up for Bindya. Of course we’re in the heart of spring, but you can never go wrong with a printed scarf. The lightweight cotton blends of this luxurious neckwear accessory is perfect for this season. However, if it’s just not one of those days when you want to wear a scarf, transform your favorite tote bag by wrapping one of these around the straps. We’re big fans of the lush watercolor designs which add a bold pop to any t-shirt & jeans look with ballet flats.
Since getting ready for Mother’s Day has been on our minds here at Ladies Outfitters, we’ve been thinking a lot about jewelry. Luckily representatives from Kenneth Jay Lane were on hand to share with us some of the amazing new designs about to hit stores. This includes structured twists in rich yellow gold which will certainly shine with any little black dress or can help dress up even the most casual button-down shirt & trousers.
We were excited to see the pops of neon & lace overlay on some of the shoes by Dolce Vita. Not only is this shoe a must-have for more than just this season, but it will effortlessly transform any look into a red carpet event. We love the rounded shape of the shoes, especially because of the fuchsia and neon yellow hues are so striking. These will certainly elongate the legline, but keep your feet comfortable with a sturdy & soft inner sole.
Last, but not least, the fashions were beyond amazing, proving that dressing like a lady with feminine details like beadwork, lace, feathers, & chiffon will never go out of style. The above picture comes courtesy of designer Sue Wong, whose evening & cocktail looks are drop dead gorgeous. Passersby could literally spend hours engrossed in examining the beautiful trims, hemlines, necklines, & bodices of these confections of couture.
Of course, Ladies Outfitters is thankful to have participated in such a stylish event.
